God's Word for 2020. The Next Leg of the Race
Sifting through prophetic words and interpretations for the significance of 2020, we were uncertain what the Lord would tell us for the year that is ahead. He began by showing Craig, a Triathalon. This is an arduous race that consists of 3 different events. Most often, running, swimming and cycling.
The Lord made it clear. “I am not doing a new thing. I am not starting a new race. Rather, the race has already begun! It’s just time to change events. In fact, 2020 is a year of continuing in what I have started!”
We live in a Church society where everyone is keen for their next season. So ready to throw away the “old” and forget about all the bad of the past, they run full steam ahead. Yet, was it not the 365 days behind us that brought us here to this point? They shaped us. Added to us. Each day has become a page in our story and as we turn another page, we do not suddenly tear up the book! No, rather we simply continue along with the storyline towards God’s promises.
The two of us look forward to turning that next page with you. May the Word God gave below set your course straight for 2020 and beyond!

God’s Word for 2020

As you roll over into 2020, you will see that the way is already prepared my child. I am not doing something new. Rather I am building on the new that has already begun. I have been declaring the change to my people. There are those that have built, in the open. There are those that have built underground. There are those that have gone into systems and there are those that have built within the church.
Mass Construction
There has been mass construction in every system and in every land. My plan is indeed in motion already, but what you will see in the year ahead, is an increase in momentum of what I have already begun.
For the Church waited for the apostles to take their place once again. It waited for the fivefold ministry to be positioned and in the last two years, I positioned them. I put them in place in various churches, systems and countries. I put them in dark places. I put them in public places and I told my prophets to declare my purposes in the earth.
Prophets: Their Influence So Far
For indeed you have already seen my prophets sent out into the darkness and to declare the light that is coming. They have been sent to churches that did not know my power. They were sent to countries that could not hear my voice. I sent them far and wide and they have been preaching and praying and declaring my will into the earth.
And now, you will begin to see the fruit of their labor. For with the launch of the prophetic move, I began to reveal to my prophets the apostolic move that was to come. They were frustrated at times because I kept them hidden. I sent them like Nehemiah in the cover of dark to inspect the walls. They did not know why it was so lonely. They did not understand why they had to remain hidden.
A Cumulative Work
Yet season after season they sent out my word according to my will and now it is time for those words to be made manifest to my people. So know this. This is not the work of one prophet. One apostle. One pastor, teacher or evangelist.
Rather what you will see in 2020 and in the years beyond it is the cumulative work of all my servants.
Those who have established foundations and built walls while experiencing opposition. They built in the night and declared the light until the season changed!
So realize then that I am not doing a new thing, but rather continuing what I have already begun so long ago.
For when is it that you know what a building will look like? It is when you erect the walls and then the roof. Up until now, foundations have been laid. Structures have been set out and now my child, my Church will begin to take shape according to what I destined her to be.
The Church Taking Shape
You will begin to see the building take shape as I add the walls and the roof and so create a vehicle - an environment for my people to worship. A place where many will be drawn far and wide.
Yet do not misunderstand - this structure is not in one place. It is not just one building. It is not just one gathering. Rather, it is a structure that is universal. For just as I sent my prophets and apostles to build together, I will begin to connect them in the year to come.
International Connection - Distribution of Spiritual DNA
For they will soon see that they cannot build alone. They will reach the boundary of their limitation and will need to reach out and connect with others. So while you have seen lone ministries rise up in the last years, expect to see ministries come together and combine in the year ahead.
I have not called just one ministry, office or church to bring change. Rather I have called my Universal Church to have an influence on this world. This means coming together in fellowship and in communion. This means allowing my own DNA to flow from one branch of the vine into another.
For up until now you have seen small empires develop in my Kingdom. Individual churches and non-denominational ministries rise up with their own DNA. This was my perfect plan to shake my church out of her complacency. However, as each one has grown, they have reached limitation and without the assistance of others, they will hit a plateau and their growth will stagnate.
Apostles: Relationship and DNA Transfer
So I will connect ministries. Large ministries and churches. I will connect prophets and apostles. And I will connect apostles with other apostles so that they can build side by side, just as Peter, Paul and James built side by side.
Each one was left to build their own foundation according to their individual mandates. Now that each of these foundations is laid, the rest of the work needs assistance. It needs input from others. One apostle can go through only so much training and receive so much revelation. It takes years for this training and revelation to progress.
So when I bring two apostles together, they can glean from one another’s mandate and training. They need not go through all the training again, to gain the one strand of DNA they need to complete their own structure. And so you will see my church more connected than ever before.
A Universal Church. A church that will be connected internationally - that will cross-denominational and cultural boundaries.
International Exchange
Look up and see- it is already upon you! Missions reach far and wide. To third world and first world countries! I am sending my missionaries from America to Africa and my missionaries from Africa to America! I am sending my missionaries from the east to the west and the west to the east! See then that my hand is on this connection.
The apostles who are ready to lead this new wave are those that are willing to be sent out. Sent to where they have not gone to receive a revelation that they have not yet been able to see or hear. I must change their perspectives. For when I change the perspective of the Shepherd, the sheep can follow along safely.
So watch as I suddenly change the direction of my Generals. I will give them new orders. They have done well. They have established foundations. However, more than just a house needs to be built - I want a city on a hill. There is much more to be established and it will take a new way of thinking. A new understanding to complete what has already begun in my Body.
The Next Leg of the Race
So put your hands to the plough once again. Do not grow weary in doing good. Do not grow weary with the plans that are already in motion. Do not become frustrated because the work got difficult. Recognize instead that you are building something that will remain. You are establishing something that will be left behind to other generations.
So recognize that what you build today will be for others to live in tomorrow. So do not put down your tools! Do not walk away from what you have started. Do not assume that I am starting a new season, which would mean letting go of the old. No! Instead, bring with you the treasures of the old season and combine it with what I am doing that is new!
Build onto what has already been established and soon you will see my Church as a City on the hill says the Lord.
