Prophetic Dream Interpretation Checklist: Was your Dream a Message from God?
The prophetic move is well underway and yet many still don't know that God speaks through dreams. This is not a new concept. The Old Testament is littered with accounts of God’s communication through dreams. So what does this mean for us today?
Good news! Because we have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, every believer can hear the voice of God! I teach that there are at least 8 ways you can hear His voice. One of those 8 ways is through dreams.

5 Indicators That God Has Left a Message In Your Dream

The Dream Is Short and to the Point
God is deliberate! When He speaks, He will use clear symbols and get straight to the point. Prophetic dreams in the Old and New Testament aren’t long-winded. They are simple with few scene changes.
The Dream has a focused message
The Lord loves order! His message will be pointed. Remember, the intention of His message is to connect with you. He will give you one clear message and once you grasp it, give you another. If you feel like you are in an elaborate escape room struggling to find the key - the dream isn’t likely to be of the Lord!
You remember the dream when you wake up!
A tad obvious but it needs to be said. If you don't remember the dream, don't sweat it! When the Lord speaks, you will wake up with the images clear in your mind. If you think a dream was of God and you cannot remember it, hold tight. He will speak to you again. Never feel that you have to chase God to force His message. He pursues you. He delights to talk to you.
You have a series of similar short dreams in one night
This point is typical of a prophetic dream. Pharoah had it. Peter was invited to a banqueting table of unclean animals a few times. Each dream will be short and to the point. They will revolve around a singular message.
symbols in your dream can be found in the Word
Best indication ever! The Lord speaks through the Word. Symbols such as rivers, water, oil, wine and so forth will be central to your dream.
Could you tick off all these indicators? Then the Lord is sending you a message in your dreams! They are simple to interpret, I promise.
